Deepak manages global sales operations programs and providing support to India specific programs aimed at maximising Sun's business in India. Deepak joined Sun in 2003 as the Sales Operations Manager for sub-Saharan Africa, where he worked very closely with the broader GSS and finance community, contributing towards the sub-region achieving near double growth in three years. From there he moved to undertake a short stint at APAC GSS HQ in Singapore before moving into his current position (his "dream job") in August, 2007. Prior to joining Sun, Deepak spent a decade in various positions in the transport and IT arena (as well as worked within Sun's partner base in South Africa) undertaking assignments in marketing, business development, sales and consulting. Deepak holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours (India); Master of Business Administration (USA); Master of Science – Industrial Engineering (South Africa) and is currently busy with Doctoral studies in Sales Management (Australia). |
