Sivasankaran heads the Storage Practice for Sun Microsystems in India. Prior to joining Sun in 2006, he used to be with Silicon Graphics systems (SGI) India for more than 12 years and used to head the sales operations for SGI's Strategic Accounts business. Siva was instrumental in developing the Storage market for SGI in the Government, Oil & Gas, Media and Manufacturing industry and also contributed to its expansion into the HPC, Storage and High End Visualization market space. Siva comes with more than 25 years of experience in the industry and has worked with HCL America, Engineers India Ltd and ACC Babcock in the past. Siva has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University. |
