Sun Tech Days 2009 – Worldwide Developer Conference Returns to HyderabadConference Demonstrates How Next Generation Developers Drive Innovation Hyderabad, February 04, 2009 - Sun Microsystems India today announced details of its annual developer conference--Tech Days 2009. Designed to showcase how developers can leverage Sun technologies, services and products to drive the next generation of technology innovation, the three day event will be held in Hyderabad, at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) from February 18th to 20th, 2009 with supporting sessions in Pune and Chennai James Gosling, Vice President and Sun fellow and Matt Thompson - Senior Director, Cloud Developer Platform, will be the featured keynotes. Sun Tech Days 2009 will focus heavily on technologies around social computing, cloud computing, OpenSolaris and Java. Sun Tech Days sessions will be loaded with technical content, practical "how to" information, examples of real-world solutions, tips on application performance tuning, hands-on training and will provide the developers the right platform to meet and interact with global visionaries and technology leaders from Sun. The theme for this year's Sun Tech Days program is " Empowering YOU” and is aimed at fostering "Innovation, Collaboration, and Integration” amongst the developer community in order to drive innovation. Cloud computing, the much talked about trend for 2009 will also be addressed at the conference. Sun will share its vision for delivering a wide variety of Sun-powered clouds – both public and private – that are open and interoperable. Specifically, Sun executives will talk about the role developer communities around the world will play in the cloud ecosystem.
